Root gene expression profile in response to brassinosteroid

An overview of the expression profile of all genes in root from rice seedlings treated with brassinolide (BL). Seeds of japonica rice cultivar Nipponbare were germinated and grown hydroponically in a growth chamber at 28ºC under continuous light. Seven-day old seedlings were transferred in culture solution with 1 μM BL and in culture solution without BL to serve as control (mock treatment). Root samples were collected at 0 min (pretreatment) and after 15 min, 30 min, 1 h, 3 h and 6 h incubation (Details of methods). The RNA isolated from a total of 18 samples in three replicates were labeled with Cy3 (mock treatment) and Cy5 (hormone treatment), and used for hybridization using the Agilent two-color microarray analysis system (Sample list). The time-course expression profile for each gene is shown as raw data representing Cy3 and Cy5 signal intensity and the log-ratio of signal intensity (Log2 Cy5/Cy3). Search options include keyword search for individual RAP-DB locus ID, MSU Osa1 Rice Loci, and accession number, or chromosome search to get a list of all genes for each chromosome.
