Gene expression profiles in whole leaf inoculated with Magnaporthe oryzae

This work was supported by Genomics for Agricultural Innovation (RTR0003).
Gene expression profile of rice in response to the blast fungus, Magnaporthe oryzae. Three lines of rice cultivar Nipponbare carrying the blast resistance genes (Pia, Pish) were inoculated with two strains of M. oryzae harboring AVR-Pia and AVR-Pish (Details of materials). Rice seedlings at the 4-leaf stage were inoculated with the conidial suspension of M. oryzae and the leaves were harvested at 1, 2, 3, and 5 days post inoculation (dpi) (Inoculation method). A total of 108 samples in three replicates were used for hybridization using the Agilent one-color (Cy3) microarray-based gene analysis system. The expression profile for each gene is shown as raw data representing Cy3 signal intensity and normalized data (log2) (Expression profile format). Search options include keyword search for individual RAP locus ID, gene name and accession number, or chromosome search to get a list of all genes for each chromosome.
